FESTIVE ONLINE CHRISTMAS CALENDAR FOR YOUNG READERS
 
One of the funniest Christmas books from the home of Santa Claus has been turned into an engaging online advent calendar for young readers. Kidzone Finland, a fun, educational website for UK kids aged five to 11, run by the Embassy of Finland in London, launches its third annual Christmas calendar on December 1.
 
This year the story and illustrations are from the book Twelve Gifts for Santa Claus by Mauri Kunnas, Finland's best loved author of children's books. Young readers can follow the adventures of the little elf Zac in a delightfully illustrated, 24 part story about sharing the gift of happiness with others.
