Come and hear Nick Hennessey perform Kalevala!




‘A top-performace,’ say those who have already seen Nick sing and read Kalevala, Finland’s national epic. Nick is a professional storyteller and musician, who performs with pan pipes, drum, and occasionally, the harp.

Kalevala is a cornerstone of Finns’ national identity, and loved by generations. Although Nick performs in English, he is the sixth World Champion in Kalevala Runesinging! There are very few people in the world that sing Kalevala the way it was originally performed – this is a must event.

Nick will entertain us for half an hour after dinner at 9.30pm.

TICKETS: £10, inclusive of performance and dinner (Karjalanpaisti – beef casserole, potatoes, salad, rye bread).

Turn first right down Old Lansdown Rd - the Club car park is on your right hand side (The club is behind the parking area and cannot be seen from the road – look out for a big sign saying ‘tennis club’)
